CONCEPT CLASS: BULERIAS

This class breaks apart the mystery and complexity of both “Bulerias” & "Tangos (a traditional and often improvised type of flamenco song). Students will learn how to improvise in relation to the singing through an exploration of the “Cante” and rhythm structure. The class features live singing and guitar. Mixed Level, previous Flamenco experience/training recommended. Classes are IN PERSON at Flamenco Vivo Studios in NYC. Drop-in ok! Rather, bring the steps you have, the patas and the palos and Sonia will guide you through transitions, Ismael will help resolve issues and the both teachers will help dancers find confidence to dance, perform and improvise!
